Life is unfair
How many times have you heard this sentence:
Life is unfair.
No matter how much we try to make things equal, it just won't happen. Nope! How can you meet in the middle when it's not there? It's stupid to think that when you ask to stand on the same platform with another person and you were allowed to, you are already on the same perspective with that person. Nope! You're of different height. You're of different eye sight. You are not on the same spot where the sunlight hits you. He or she will either experience the heat first or feel it last. You may look at your feet and feel better because finally you're on the same level. When you slowly lift your eyes to meet hers or his, you come into a realization that it will never be the same. It will never be fair. It will never be equal.
No one would stop you to rally your beliefs. Even if they do, your strong will will push them aside. There's no end to your dreams though. When you close your eyes, your vision changes. What you dreamed last night will be distorted bit by bit until you realize when you're gray and old that the dream ate you whole.
Life is not fair. But the best you can do is to not care. Continue doing what you love to do. Read those books forbidden to you. It doesn't matter if you're up there or you're down here. Your place on this earth doesn't matter. Life's unfair so should you.
